Quilled Valentine's Day cards

These days I am busy (like many other artisans out there) making greeting cards and gifts for Valentine's Day, and would like to share with my readers two simple Valentine cards, in case anybody is still looking for ideas.
For the first card I used heavyweight card stock, wrapping paper with a nice pattern, a ribbon, and quilling strips of just two colors — red and pink — for the heart. In terms of quilling the heart was made using the beehive technique called so by the inventor, Susan (there's also a video tutorial). I mounted the quilled heart on a double-sided adhesive foam to create a three-dimensional look. The ribbon was used to tie a nice bow, the instructions can be found here. Size of this card is about 5 3/4" x 4" (10.5 x 15 cm).

For the second card I used card stock too, a heart paper punch and red quilling strips. Size of this one is about 4" x 4 1/4" (10 x 10.5 cm). Valentine's Day cards like these are easy-to-make (yet probably too traditional :), and they can be a wonderful gift for your loved one.
Some other Valentine's Day ideas in my older posts:
