Penguin, princess, clown, elephant and Pinocchio costumes.
As a rule, we seize any opportunity for creative activities. A good one is preparing Purim (Halloween etc.) costumes. It's also a good way to show your kids that you care, and has a great educational value, in my opinion. Even if they can't really participate in making a costume, children are involved in choosing a character, designing the costume and then see you gluing, cutting and sewing. There are also simple things they can help you with.
For this Pinocchio costume we just made the mask, everything else was found in the closet.

the elephant is amazing!
my kid wants to be an elephant and i dont know how to make it.
what i really want to know is how you made the trunk.
can you help me?
Thank you! I made a "sleeve" (one seam only) and closed its end with a round piece of fabric, then stuffed the trunk with foam rubber and sewed it on top of the hood. Hope this helps.
