I wanted to show in detail the quilled rose from "Miniature flower pots" many of you liked so much. Just to remind you, its height is about 6 cm (2 3/8 inch).
The close-up of a leaf.
Bottom view, you can see how the pot is made.
And this is the flower from below.
Finally, the view inside the pot. Although you can clearly see tiny pieces of paper on this macro, life-size they look pretty much like light soil :)
In addition, I must share with you the link to an extraordinary tutorial (includes video) how to make a quilling rose by Claire Sunok Choi. Enjoy!
UPDATE: I published also my own tutorial for roses. I make them in a bit different way — How to fold a rose.

Thank you, Denise :)
This is absolutely amazing! just wondering, what thickness of paper did you use for each of the components of the flower?
Thanks :) It's a plain copy paper, 80 gsm. 1/8"-wide (3mm) strips for the stem, pot and leaves; approx. 3/8"-wide (1cm) for the flower.
