This is my new quilling. As always, it's made using hand-cut strips. For bumblebees' wings I used tracing-paper. The finished work is framed in a hand-made and hand-colored paper frame. Size: 10x18 cm (4x7 inch) without frame. Here are some more pictures:
The pattern is taken from Helen M Stevens Embroiderer's Countryside, which is a very beautiful book on embroidery.

Wow! This looks fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing!
Inna another perfect piece of art! Love the bees and their delicate wings! You Should really write a book with all your patterns, it would sell!!!!
Thank you Jeanne and Sonya!
Sonya, I even don't know where to start. Besides this, I'm almost sure that here in Israel nobody will need such a book :(
Awesome!!!!! Love those bees there... Their wings are so delicate. The creation is looking gorgeous!
You should really consider writing a book.
Archana, thank you very much!
Wow!! Inna I love the way you present your creations. Love the Bumblebees.. I go with Sonya and Archana comments.. You should consider writing a book..

Thank you very much, Martha!
One more amazing piece of art!
Inna, maybe an e-book can work, though I don't know how they are sold...
Thank you, Tanya!
Inna, I so need to see the pattern or get some ideas to make the bumblebee. I have a lady turning 90 and my mom who is 91 wants me to create a bumblebee birthday card. Can you help me please? It would mean the world. Also did Martha say there was a video that you had for tips? Thank you again.
Mary, I don't have a pattern for the bumblebee. I just made this sketch and then "played it by ear". You may click one of the images to enlarge it and make something similar. You can also try another, a simpler one, like here or here. I indeed made a video with a cute bumblebee from pompoms (here), but not sure if it can be used for a card, unless you use really small pompoms, and without the toothpick.
Let me know if you can't manage it.
i tryed and did ths one,vry beautyfull... thank u 4 sharing
Great! Will you show your work?
seriously u should start writing a e-book ...u explain quilling very well & u also do it amazingly neat
Inna, honestly you should write a book with your creations and detailed descriptions and pictures on how to create some of your out of this world creations. It may not sell in Israel, but I am sure it will be a hit in UK and USA.
Thank you, I'm thinking about it :)
